Philanthropy

How Does Philanthropy Fit Into Your Plan? Into your Life?

Every individual, and family, is different. It has been my pleasure to help my clients incorporate their philanthropic passions into their financial plan. It doesn't simply have to be something that you do "if there's anything left", or "after you're gone". However, finding the balance of being financially responsible, reaching all of life's goals, and still being consistently active (at whatever level desired) in philanthropic efforts can prove challenging. I bring to the table strategies that help my clients incorporate philanthropic efforts into their lives from a financial point of view.

Personally, I am involved on a multitude of levels with a significant amount of organizations. While there are a few organizations I strive to be more involved with (as mentioned below), all the kids in the neighborhood, and all our friends, know they can count on "the Zing's" to sign up for whatever they have for whatever fundraiser they are working with. Following Mother Theresa's words, that we can "Do little things with great love, and make an impact on the world" holds true for me, and for my family.

Life isn't just about money. Life is about not having to worry about money......it's about being fulfilled, and about our families, friends and loved ones. So whatever your passions are, please embrace them! Our individual actions, based on our passions and interests, lead to a dynamic amount of support for the millions of people, places and socially responsible organizations that can benefit from all we can do. So......let's put a plan together that will help you not worry about money and work, but allow you to focus on what's important to you. After all, we are on this earth to work to live, NOT live to work!!!!

These are but a few organizations I believe very strongly in:

The Rotary Club is an organization I am involved with. I have been a member of the Centennial Rotary Club since 2008. And have served on the board of directors. I personally look forward to everything we can accomplish to help our immediate community, and the global community.

What would it take to change the world? Rotary International is the world's first service club organization, with more than 1.2 million members in 33,000 clubs worldwide. Rotary club members are volunteers who work locally, regionally, and internationally to combat hunger, improve health and sanitation, provide education and job training, promote peace, and eradicate polio under the motto Service Above Self. Please check out the rotary clubs in your area. See if the "SERVICE ABOVE SELF" is something that interests you. www.rotary.org.

The Women's Foundation of Colorado is an amazing group of people who come together to improve the lives of a multitude of people in many ways. I look forward to many years of involvement with this organization.

At The Women’s Foundation of Colorado, their goal is that every woman in Colorado is economically self-sufficient, and every girl in Colorado is on the path to economic self-sufficiency. Their mission to get there, is to build resources and lead change so that the women and girls of Colorado are full and equal participants in society. Please feel free to check out The Women's Foundation of Colorado at their website. www.wfco.org. Also, note that there are other organizations nationwide that mirror the efforts of The Women's Foundation of Colorado. Look for local organizations in your area that are equally supportive.
